Need to know what browser your computer is working on?
Alot of problems users bump into with their web pages are specific to their browsers an their browsers only. Even browser versions can affect the way users view their sites.
Find out your browser on an
Apple Macintosh
1. When you have your browser open, click on the pulldown menu that says the name of the browser. If it is Safari for instance, you'd click the menu on the top left corner of your screen that says Safari.
2. Continuing with the same example, for Safari you would then go to the item that says 'About Safari'. This should bring up the version number you are using.
Find out your browser on a Windows Personal Computer
1. While your browser is open, click on the word Help in the menu. Then click on About. The window that opens up will show both the browser name and the current version that you are using.
