Mike and Fanegie, CONGRATULATIONS, I'm So-o-o-o-o-o happy for the both of you to have found each other. It's Sat. 7/7/07 @ 3am You'll be on your way home today from your honeymoon (I can't wait to hear all about it, well not all the details). Now, Today, your life begins, to share the path God has chosen. Your married for 1 week today. Mr and Mrs. Doty how does that sound and wait till you write it for the first time. I just can't believe it, my Mickey married. You have so much of life's adventures ahead of you. All the good and bad too. Yes there will be bumps, but, the bumps will strengthen your relationship, will make you grow even closer. (even though it may not seem it at the time) There are a few things to try to remember. COMMUNICATION, Trust and Honesty is important. Don't go to bed mad at each other (even if it takes all night) Try to always remember your FIRSTS, your FIRST time you saw each other, your FIRST date, the FIRST time you looked into each others eyes, I mean Really looked into each others eyes (that feeling you got in your tummy) your FIRST kiss, the FIRST time you met each others families, when he asked you to marry him, when she said YES, the celebrations you had, the day of your wedding, your honeymoon the FIRST time you say or write Mr. or Mrs. Doty the FIRST time he introduces you as my wife and you introduce him as my husband and all the many many other FIRSTS to add to this. Remember them all when you get into your first argument, or when you find out each others bad habits or when you get annoyed at each other. Just talk it out and remember how lucky you both are that the Lord chose to let your paths cross. I can't wait to get to know my daughter-in-law better and hope we can spend some Holidays together (another new thing, having to split Holidays with each others family) I want to sit and talk about so many things . Your lives are just beginning and I hope to be part of it. The Coral House was beautiful (not as beautiful as Fanegie) Everyone on the grooms side had a great time!!! Everything seemed to go so smooth (except me not being there and holding up your wedding) I just hope one day in your hearts you can forgive me for that. Grandma & Grandpa are so happy for you, they had a good time. When I asked Justin what was his favorite part of the wedding first he said the limo ride and the kiss at the alter, yesterday it was the dancing and the kiss and today he was back to the limo ride and the kiss. This I know for sure, he liked the kiss. Mike, you have grown from a sweet,good baby to a cute little boy to a curious and lets not forget mischievous young man to a the man you are today that any mother would be proud of. hello i would like to say congrats. i am jazzmin's mom. dre's daughter jazzmin. and its nice to see her extended family finally. she will be attending the wedding with her birth father and is excited and looking forward to meeting her family members. congrats again and blessings to all of you.

Congrats Fannie to you and Mike. I know it's late, but I feel so blessed to have received this wonderful news at this time. I read you and Mike's story and I was just boohoo crying tears of joy. I am so happy for the two of you for 1) finding the lord; and 2) allowing the lord to open your hearts to each other. Tell Mike, according to proverbs, he that findeth a wife findeth a good thing :) May God bless this union and continue to allow the two of you to touch others. Your page is truly a testimony to young people in search of love. I cannot stress enough how much God is the most important ingredient to a lasting marriage. Dave and I are still in love after 11 years thanks to God being the center of our Joy. Things are not alway peaches and cream; however, God will always give you the proper tools to deal with situations as they come.
